The works for this edition come from the estate of Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Edward Tarr and are by European composers of the Romantic period whose life paths brought them to St. Petersburg:

Oskar Boehme, Anton Rubinstein, Stanislaw Moniuszko, Anton Derfeldt, Alexander Dargomyschski and Konstantin Vilboa.

On the last weekend of January 2023, Reinhold Friedrich, Eriko Takezawa-Friedrich and I had the pleasure of recording these eight beautiful character pieces at the Karlsruhe Castle.

The proceeds from the sale of this edition will fully benefit the Tarr Foundation, which supports young trumpet players.
